Munich Unplugged – The live music festival is just around the corner. From the 24th to the 26th of May you can experience a great selection of bands.
The musical spectrum ranges from rock and pop over blues and jazz to classical and fresh sound of Bavaria. We would like to introduce you to the bands and give you a little sneak peek.
Friday 23th May
from 18:30 p.m. – The Monks: 5 guys from all over the world which you can tell from their wide range of different music from different generations. They play cover songs from folk, rock to modern pop.
from 20:30 p.m – The Isarelites: Accordion, mandolin and ukulele meet rock instruments. The band started 5 years ago with traditional Irish dance songs, French waltzes and Eastern European polkas. Meanwhile, the five musicians perform now a bit more rocking.
Saturday 25th May
from 15:30 p.m. – Trio Lias: Petra Lias, Amedeo Tortora, Florian Klimpke play preferably Canzone Napoletana of the 1900-1960s and Caribbean Calypso of the 1930s in Bavarian style.
from 18:30 p.m. – Mirko Santocono: An unmistakable sound and sensitive lyrics. The Singer songwriter from Westerwald with Italian roots enchants the audience with his amazing and warm voice and provides goosebumps moments.
from 20:30 p.m. – Southernality:
The 5 guys from Munich Fabrizio, Louis, Walter and Peter know how to fascinate the audience. They perform songs from the last 40 years, but also have their own songs.
Sunday 26th May
10:00 a.m. – 14:00 p.m.– Bavarian Breakfast and traditional music from the “Oberlandler Musikanten”
from 14:30 p.m.– Zweitgeist: Singer and songwriter duo from Munich convinces with profound songs and guitar sounds.
from 16:30 p.m. – L&M: Acoustic Rock Made in Bavaria
from 18:30 p.m. – Amanda und der Wolff: Amanda and Wolff from Munich perform German pop. The style does not really fit in any drawer and yet you realize that everything belongs together. With this band you get to hear life in all its facets.
